I am a Licensed Social Worker who counsels' adults, adolescents, and their families with a client-centered lens using Trauma-informed, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approaches. I believe in creating a safe, empathic, and warm environment, which I view as an essential component of the healing process. I seek to collaborate and provide the necessary support to help clients achieve their treatment goals.

My clinical interest areas include: Addiction/Substance Use, Anger Management, Anxiety/Social Anxiety, Attachment Issues, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Faith-Based Issues, Guilt/Shame, Identity/Self-Esteem, Men’s Issues, Mood Disorders, Panic Disorder, Personality Disorders,, Process Addiction, Singles’ Issues, Stress, and Trauma.

Michael obtained a Master’s degree in social work and specialization in mental health and substance use. He studied at Loyola University School of Social Work (MSW) and trained at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Counseling Centers of Illinois.
